Assassin's Creed IV release date changed

Black Flag to launch worldwide a couple of days earlier than originally planned.

Ubisoft has just confirmed a new worldwide release date for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, with their latest entry in the series now set to land on current-gen consoles on October 29.

Originally the game was due to land in the UK on November 1, but now fans eager to get their hands on the pirate-themed Assassin's title will be able to set sail a couple of days earlier.

A new story trailer has been released along with the announcement. While Assassin's Creed IV is set to be released on Xbox 360 and PS3 at the end of this month, the Wii U, PC and next-gen versions of the game are still coming on November 22.

I was hoping it would be the same for the PC-version. Obviously I was too optimistic.
