Ubisoft has revealed that August is a big month for Assassin's Creed fans, as the universe continues to expand, especially for fans of Odyssey, who have just received the last episode of the Fate of Atlantis DLC storyline (a review of which you can find here).

There's a new Lost Tale of Greece episodic story available as of yesterday too, entitled Old Flames Burn Brighter, and you'll need to have reached Chapter 5 in the main story. Elsewhere the Ikaros Pack will also be landing on August 27 in the store and at the Oikos of the Olympians, including a gear set, mount, and bow.

Update 1.5.0 is set to be deployed later in the month too, preparing the game for the upcoming Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece, and some extra features for Story Creator Mode are inbound as well, like Inventory Starter/Objective - allowing players to start a new quest using quest items - as well as patrol behaviour. The website has also been updated to save stories for later, create and share playlists, and queue stories.

Assassin's Creed Rebellion, on the other hand, is following the release of Region 5 on July 30 with the Eagle's Shadow five-day event from August 7 (today), letting players unlock two new heroes - Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad and Maria Thorpe. You'll be able to go to Acre in 1191 during the Third Crusade as either of these characters.

Are you going to explore these updates in August?
