Do you like football and want to win a big prize playing on your console? We at Gamereactor love both the beautiful game and the warm weather in the astonishing Canary Islands, and by combining both passions we’re arranging the online tournament you just can’t miss this fall. The Arucas Gaming Fest is to be held at the end of the month in the beautiful Arucas, “the gateway to the north of Gran Canaria”, but for those of us in the United Kingdom who cannot attend physically, and together with Arucas Town Hall, we’re launching the Arucas eFootball Online Tournament, inviting every footie lover in the UK. And what’s that big prize? The winner will receive an official Manchester United jersey courtesy of Konami, and a powerful gaming computer by Erazer.

RULES

eFootball 2024 is a free-to-play football game available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.

The Arucas eFootball Tournament will be played online on PS4 or PS5 on eFootball 2024. The game has to be updated to the 3.0 version at the very least.

Tournament structure is K.O. qualifying rounds of one single match.

Match settings

• All matches will be played in Authentic Team mode.
• Online encounters happen under Friend Match (1v1 online mode).
• Match Room Settings have to include “uniform ratings for players” and “penalties on” in case the match ends all square.
• Online players are responsible for agreeing on a date and time to play within the current round’s timespan, as well as on who will be the host and create the room (to this end they can use Gamereactor private messages or PSN messaging.
• Online players have to make sure that the host has activated both “uniform ratings for players” and penalties before starting the match (by pressing the square button on the match room screen).
• The winner of a match must send a screen capture of their “Match History” (Extras > User information) as proof of victory clearly showing the result of the match between the two users to [email protected]
• If the winner doesn’t send proof of victory before the round is over, they will be eliminated too.
• If one of the two players doesn’t show up, the user willing to play the match must give proof of their rival’s non-appearance.

Dates and deadlines:

• Signup: From November 17 to November 23.
• First round: November 24-27.
• Second round: Fixtures will be announced on November 28 at 10:00 AM.

Only citizens of the United Kingdom or legal residents in the country can participate in this tournament. Prizes will only be sent to a physical address in the United Kingdom.
