Studio Wildcard's survival action-adventure Ark just got expanded with new content and a handful of innovative game mechanics, and this second expansion for the game, called Aberration, seems to be way more beautiful than the title implies.
As the launch trailer below shows, the new content consists of new stories, areas, and creatures (as you'd expect), and the colourful subterranean environment is a bit different to your usual open-air world, which is now a lot more dangerous due to strong radiation.
Players will be able to craft over 50 new items, use ziplines, and soar through environments by wearing wingsuits, Rico Rodríguez-style. Also, given the cave-theme, there are a bunch of tools and gear for better climbing.
Aberration can be downloaded right now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, costing £14.99 as a standalone purchase, although those with the season pass can get it for free. Which part of Aberration are you looking forward to seeing?
