Ark: Survival Ascended

Studio Wildcard has upgraded their survival title to Unreal Engine 5, adding a variety of additional improvements along the way, but is it enough to make the jump from Ark: Survival Evolved?

After being delayed and missing its planned release date yesterday.

The version for Sony's console will be delayed a little more.

It's almost time to play with dinosaurs again.

Quite unsurprisingly, it's a dinosaur. But a really good looking one.

The development team needs extra time to deliver the game as it has been "challenging working with Unreal Engine 5.2".

"In hindsight, not the best move. Our bad".

Fans aren't happy, to say the least.

Everything gets better and prettier thanks to an upgrade to Unreal Engine 5 in preparation for the sequel, but will also lead to the original's servers shutting down.
