Tetsuya Mizuguchi has a long and celebrated career in video games, but at times he's left the industry to pursue other interests, now with his new company Enhance Games he is focusing his efforts on new technology such as VR with Rez Infinite that just recently launched on Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.

"VR, AR, MR is a really big domain for us," says Mizuguchi. "We want to create a new experience anyway, we will make a hybrid type you can play with VR and without VR, both, but if you play with VR it will be gorgeous. We want to create that kind of experience."

So what's next then?

"So you played Area X [from Rez Infinite], Area X is like a prologue to me for the next future something," explains Mizuguchi. "So I'm already thinking about what is next. And I already started another VR project also, so anyway, we have many ideas now, so it's a very exciting moment.

"Rez has still got it after all these years. A great game, and a great fit for PlayStation VR."
