Steam Link allows you to stream your PC games to a variety of other devices, but the Steam Database Twitter account has revealed that Apple has actually rejected an app for the service for iOS, sharing a Valve press statement on the matter.
On Monday, May 7, the statement says the app was approved for release, with Valve subsequently releasing news of the app two days later. After that, however, "Apple revoked its approval citing business conflicts with app guidelines that had allegedly not been realised by the original review team." Valve appealed the decision, explaining the function of Steam Link once again, but to no avail, leaving the app blocked for release.
The statement says that the app is similar to others already on the iOS App Store, and that they're disappointed with the decision, but they hope Apple can reconsider. Are you disappointed by the news as well?
