Animated Devil May Cry series announced by Netflix

It isn't just Castlevania getting some love.

Netlix has a huge success on their hands with their animated series for Castlevania, which received universal acclaim from both media and viewers, and while we already knew there will be more Castlevania coming, now IGN has revealed that the Castlevania producer Adi Shankar actually has a new project as well - another Netflix series based on the Capcom franchise Devil May Cry.

And that's not all, as we also know that Devil May Cry and Castlevania will take place in the same universe. Shankar himself calls this a "bootleg multiverse" and reveals he got the rights to Devil May Cry so that "the jabronis in Hollywood don't f*** this one up too".
