An image for a Nintendo Duo emerges online

An image for what may be called a Nintendo Duo has emerged online, raising questions as to whether this could be the new console that has previously been called the NX. The image shows a box simply with Nintendo Duo written on it and it was tweeted earlier today by Twitter user @MakuXV.

What do you make of this new picture? Do you think that this might be confirmation of a console that, as previously rumoured, might be both home console and portable device?

Whatever it is that Nintendo is cooking up we at least know that we'll find out more before the end of the year after someone from the company revealed that the plan is to show and detail the hardware before 2017 is upon us.
