Etherborn developer Altered Matter and FoxNext Games - a division of 20th Century Fox - have partnered up to reveal an indie development fund aimed at risk-taking creators in the world of gaming.
FoxNext are also developing and publishing Marvel Strike Force, and the debut game in this indie game scheme is Etherborn itself, with more games planned to be announced later on. The game is launching on PC and consoles this spring, and we have a new trailer called Rebirth showing more of the 3D puzzle platformer in action.
"As passionate creators of games, we've been searching for like-minded developers focused on innovation, experimentation and a certain amount of creative risk," said TQ Jefferson, Vice President of External Development at FoxNext Games. "We're looking to partner with inspiring game makers, providing the support they need to develop the best version of their games and ultimately connect with the widest audience possible."
You can see the trailer down below, and if you're interested we have two interviews that we've conducted in the past that give us a glimpse into what the game is and how it was created.
Is Etherborn a good start for FoxNext?
