Alliance has announced that it is making a change to its Dota 2 line-up, in the form of parting ways with Moiez "symetricaL" Lin. The team has revealed the decision over Twitter, and announced that while it was a hard choice, it has been done so to make a step in the right direction.

"Today we made a decision to mutually part ways with @alliancesym. A difficult step, but sometimes change is needed. Sym, thank you for fighting alongside us and always being willing to learn."

As for who will be joining the Alliance roster to take over SymetricaL's spot for the rest of the Dota Pro Circuit this season, that duty will fall to a stand-in player who has yet to be named.
