Alien: Isolation

Alien: Isolation is heading to the Switch

One of the surprise announcements of last night's Direct was the news that Creative Assembly's stellar sci-fi horror game is heading to Nintendo's console.

One of the more surprising announcements to emerge during Nintendo's E3 Direct was the news that Alien: Isolation, Creative Assembly's excellent sci-fi shocker from back in 2014, is heading to the Switch.

Feral Interactive is handling to port of the game that stars Amanda Ripley (Ellen's daughter) and takes place 15 years after the events of the first Alien movie. This thrilling story unfolds aboard Sevastopol Station, which as you'd expect from the title, is stalked by a remorseless and deadly xenomorph that needs to be avoided at all costs.

There's no word on exactly when we'll get the game on Switch, but the trailer that you can see below reveals that it should happen at some point this year.
