The latest news on Israel and Iran. We now know that airlines continue to avoid flying over major parts of the Middle East due to heightened regional risks after recent United States military actions against Iran.

"Following US attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities, commercial traffic in the region is operating as it has since new airspace restrictions were put into place last week," FlightRadar24 said on social media platform X.

Carriers are opting for longer alternative paths, increasing operational costs while some have suspended flights to affected destinations. Rescue flights have also been temporarily halted, complicating travel for thousands stranded abroad.
