Spike Chunsoft's AI: The Somnium Files is a sci-fi murder mystery that's coming our way this year, and at GDC (Game Developer Conference) we got to talk with developers Kotaro Uchikoshi & Akira Okada about the game and whether it has other sides to it aside from the dark and serious story.

"This game has different faces," Okada explained via a translator. "In general it is a serious game, but there are some funny parts [...] so we're kind of mixing things up."

In the interview below we also hear about the different endings and characters, and for more on the game be sure to check out the Steam page.

      REVIEW. Written by Sam Bishop

"It's a unique cocktail of dark moments mixed with over-the-top silliness, all of which combines with a web of mysteries to produce a very special game indeed."
