Last week we reported that 343 Industries got more pizza than they could handle from the Halo community after a promise made on Reddit regarding Halo: The Master Chief Collection coming to PC. They even got so many that the Community Director Brian Jarrard ended up writing:

"The Halo community is awesome. We're excited, too! Please, don't send anymore pizzas to 343 Industries. The building receptionist isn't here so it's getting logistically challenging and we really don't want to see food to go waste."

That could have been the end of the story, but 343 Industries was obviously grateful after getting all those free meals, and has now decided to offer some pepperoni pizza back to the Halo fans. This is what they took to Twitter yesterday to write:

"Thank you for the outpouring of excitement over the news that Halo: The Master Chief Collection is coming to PC. As a token of gratitude, we'd like to offer you a hot slice of pepperoni within Halo 5. Jump online today and pick up your complimentary Last Slice skin!"

This was illustrated with a short video that can be found below. What do you think of this way of saying thank you to the Halo community over the pizza prank?
