The Assassin's Creed movie starring Michael Fassbender won't hit cinemas until December, but movie studio New Regency is already planning a sequel. This in spite of Ubisoft recently announcing that there will be fewer game releases in the series and that there will be no new game in the main series this year.
Hollywood news site Tracking Board reports that the studio has so much faith in the upcoming film that they're expecting to turn it into a franchise. Fassbender is signed on for the second film, claims the site.
