It's only being pushed back a couple of months, but seems to be filling Mission: Impossible's slot.

A Quiet Place: Day One, the upcoming prequel starring Lupita Nyong'o, Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff, and Dhimon Hounsou, has had its release delayed.

But, as confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter, this delay is only for a couple of months, and it puts the latest film in the horror franchise in the perfect summer blockbuster slot, as it'll now release on the 28th of June, 2024.

This is likely due to Paramount moving the release of Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One's sequel into May 2025. The company will want another big film to take this slot, and it seems A Quiet Place: Day One is the answer to that problem.
