After several years as a PC exclusive, Marvel Heroes is finally coming to consoles. Blending Marvel characters with Diablo gameplay and MMO-style mechanics, Marvel Heroes Omega supports one of the largest rosters of any superhero game ever. The PC version has over 50 heroes and villains available, while the console version will launch with 38 characters (which is still impressive).
Marvel Heroes Omega will support a free-to-play format, with a scheduled release date of spring, but you can actually play this week. On April 21 developer Gazillion Entertainment will kick off a closed beta on the PS4, with plans for an Xbox One version later, and you can access the beta by purchasing one of the founders packs on the PS Store.
Anyone participating in the beta (via founders pack or invite) will get Daredevil for free in the final game, but bear in mind all progress will be reset before the full launch. You can read an official FAQ on Marvel Heroes Omega right here if you want to know more. Is this a game you've been waiting to see make the transition between PC and consoles?
