A free update coming to Cave Story+ on Switch this August

This will bring retro-style graphics to the title.

Cave Story+ arrived on the Nintendo Switch on June 20 in the US, and we now know that a free new update will be coming to the game in August that will bring a new option for retro graphics, as announced by Nicalis, who simply said:

"Free update for #CaveStory+ with classic graphics in August! Game available now at retail and eShop #NintendoSwitch"

European players can expect Cave Story+ on their Switch consoles on September 7, however. Are retro graphics a fun addition to the game?
