NRG Esports has announced that a bunch of its Valorant roster have been made free agents, as the team looks into rebuilding and signing an array of new players ahead of the 2023 Valorant Champions Tour.

Revealed in a tweet by general manager Jaime "bikeage" Cohenca on Twitter, the individuals who have been moved to the bench and allowed to seek new deals as free agents are: Daniel "eeiu" Vucenovic, Ethan "Ethan" Arnold, Ian "tex" Botsch, James "hazed" Cobb, Tony "Zikz" Gray, and Josh "JoshRT" Lee.

Speaking about this decision, bikeage added, "The chemistry on this squad was unmatched, I'm truly sad that this is the end for this group. We came so close to making it to LAN and had a ton of fun doing it. Thank you guys for everything."

It was also added that further information relating to NRG's Valorant team will be coming soon, as we're told to "stay tuned".
