What happens when 70,000 Twitch viewers take on a chess Grandmaster? Well, if the recent stream from Ripstone Games is any indicator, the answer would be that they lose.

Ripstone Games' Twitch channel played host to a crowdsourced game of chess on November 16 and Niclas Huschenbeth was the Grandmaster in question, with a FIDE rating of 2548. 70,000 Twitch viewers took him on, and lost four times.

The viewers typed moves into the chat and in four hours, the concurrent viewers peaked at 1,800, but unfortunately couldn't produce a result.

You can watch the full stream here. Is there a game you could beat 70,000 people at?
