Financial Post report that US retail chain GameStop has a whopping 2.3 million customers waiting for a PlayStation 4.
With Sony boasting 1 million units sold on day one, it would seem they were nowhere near the actual demand. While it could be that the 2.3 million number includes customers who have gotten their PS4s at this point and that plenty of customers probably placed a pre-order with multiple outlets to better the chances of getting one at launch it's still numbers that amaze.
