Activision has revealed a bunch of new details for the upcoming Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship. Shared as part of a new statement, this season, which will start on March 31, will boast a hefty $1.7 million prize pool, with players also able to compete for a range of rewards and goodies to flaunt in-game.

As Activision states, "The Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2022 will be conducted regionally in multiple stages and begins in Stage 1 with four open online qualifiers. Each weekend from March 31st through April 24, 2022 UTC, eligible players that complete 10 ranked multiplayer matches and earn 60 points qualify for Stage 2 plus new rewards each week."

There are yet to be finer details for Stage 2, but we can likely expect it to be similar to Stage 1 in format. Otherwise, the statement did add that the Finals (set for an unannounced date) will feature the "biggest single event payday in Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship history", with the aforementioned $1.7 million prize pool.
