Microsoft loves to tease fans about what's coming to their Xbox Game Pass subscription service, one of which has just been revealed to us. We'd received hints that something was coming on January 31 (yesterday) and now we know it's the 2013 reboot of Tomb Raider.

Square Enix's trilogy has just wrapped up last September with Shadow of the Tomb Raider, so if you haven't had the chance to try any of Lara Croft's journey then you can start right now with this addition to Game Pass, which sees Croft thrust into the hero role after being forced to fight for her survival.

This isn't the first time that Lara Croft and Microsoft have joined forces, as a timed exclusivity deal with sequel Rise of the Tomb Raider meant it launched first on Xbox One too, and now the original is on Game Pass to generate even more affection among players.

For our review of the original head this way. Are you a fan of this series?
