Now that the Rocket League Championship Series has returned, developer Pysonix has revealed that it has expanded the game's Esports Shop with 10 new sets of cosmetics relating to 10 teams in the competition from all around the world.

The skins include a new Octane Decal, Fennec Decal, Dominus Decal, and a player banner, and as for which teams are being added in this new update, they are as follows:

  • Elevate

  • Gentle Mates

  • Rule One

  • M80

  • OG

  • Rebellion

  • Pioneers

  • KRÜ Esports

  • Ninjas in Pyjamas

  • Limitless

This all comes as Pysonix has announced that it is increasing the minimum level before player's are allowed to dive into the game's competitive mode. The level is increasing from 10 to 20, and the reason for the increase in level is said to "serve a couple of purposes. While we wanted to make it more difficult to smurf, one of the main goals was to make sure that new players were not blocked from playing with friends. The Casual experience back then was rife with early quitting and was considered by many as a less enjoyable experience."

"Matches often descend into violent ramming attacks and opportunistic goal poaching. It doesn't matter though; it's all fun and games."
