There seems to be a lot of Mass Effect 4 updates flying around right now, and it was just yesterday we reported that Halo 4's lead writer has joined Bioware in the development of the next ME game. Now Bioware has released a selection of pieces of concept art as a teaser of things to come.
Also, during Friday's N7 Day roundtable discussion at Bioware, a few details regarding the series were revealed (and then reported by VG247). The concept art attached shows off new alien homeworlds, which will contain new races, and many will be dangerous - as you'd probably expect.
The game, which Bioware are considering to be a "spiritual successor" and not a sequel, will be the largest game in the series thus far. There'll also be a new-look Mako for players to explore with, and there'll be new ways to scan environments.
It'll be Frostbite-powered, and at the moment it looks like it might just be appearing on Xbox One, PS4 and PC (though that's not final or confirmed - but the discussion by Bioware was focused on current-gen development). However, there's no word on when we'll see it, or what it's going to be called. There's still plenty to look forward to as the next game in the Mass Effect series edges ever closer.
