Assassin's Creed IV goes gold on PC

Ubisoft has confirmed that the PC version of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag has gone gold, and that the game will launch on the platform on November 22 as planned.

In the announcement they also detailed several different editions of the game, that gamers will be able to buy either digital or at retail.

Three editions of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag will be available for PC:
 
The Standard Edition, available at retail and on digital formats.

The Digital Deluxe Edition, a premium edition including the game, as well as bonus in-game content featuring new locations to discover and explore, additional customisation items and a new adventure starring Aveline as the main character.

The Uplay Digital Deluxe Edition, a digital package exclusively distributed on Uplay shop including all the contents from the Deluxe Edition, plus an additional in-game pack, Pride of the West Indies. This bonus content is exclusive to the Uplay Deluxe edition, available for pre-order here.

 
Three Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Collector's Editions will also be available in the UK for Windows PC versions of the game.

The Special Edition
This special edition will be available at the same price as the standard edition, but also includes unlockable in-game content only available at game launch.
 
The Standard Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition are both available in a digital PC download format. Players who pre-order the PC download version of these editions will get additional in-game bonus content. The Uplay Digital Deluxe Edition is only available in digital format and exclusively distributed on Uplay Shop.

It's also worth noting that those who pick up the Uplay Digital Deluxe Edition will get an additional 25 per cent discount off the Season Pass. Also noteworthy is the agreement in place between Ubisoft and Nvidia - pick up one of the lattter's newest graphics card and you'll bag a copy of ACIV and Splinter Cell: Blacklist bundled. Worth bearing in mind if you're planning an upgrade in the nearish future.
