There have been further signs that all is not well behind the scenes of the long-anticipated PS3 exclusive The Last Guardian. Executive producer Yoshifusa Hayama has left his post to join up with expanding social game developer Bossa.

This comes in the wake of the news that Fumito Ueda left Sony last week, although he at least will remain working on The Last Guardian in a freelance capacity.

With Ueda and now Hayama leaving the fold, the future is looking less assured for Sony's development of The Last Guardian. Whether or not these departures are because of trouble with development remains unknown as, according to Develop, Sony has issued a company wide gagging order on employees discussing Ueda's employment situation.

REVIEW. Written by Ricardo C. Esteves

"Unlike many game worlds, which seem to have been built to serve gameplay, the setting here feels organic and plausible."
