Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto V recapture the top spot (second week at number one) from FIFA 14 with Nintendo's Pokémon X/Y managed to lay claim to third and fourth spot in the charts (as to why these two almost identical games are counted separately, well, we can only assume it's some kind of tradition). Combined the Pokémon titles outsold last year's Pokémon Black/White 2 by 2:1 and if they had not counted as separate entries they would have handily claimed the top spot (in fact both versions placed above GTA V in the individual formats chart).

Quantic Dream's Beyond: Two Souls came in fifth with another new entry NIS America's Dragon's Crown scrapping in at 19th.
