Diablo III coming to consoles?

Here's some good news for console-owning RPG enthusiasts. The hugely anticipated PC and Mac bound Diablo III might be also making its way over to a console near you.

Speaking in the most recent issue of Game Informer Blizzard's Jay Wilson said "We want to build it for console.....So, I'm hopeful. It's hard for me to say beyond that."

According to Wilson, and as reported in VG247, Blizzard wants to "make a game that feels like it's natively made for a console. If we make it, we want it to feel like a Blizzard game and that we built it for that platform from the ground up".

Whilst nothing is certain at this point, it does look like the World of Warcraft developers are very interested in bringing the long-awaited Diablo III to console, and as far as we're concerned that can only be a good thing.
