MW3 number out by millions

Activision previously reported that on November 8 there was an incredible 3.3 million concurrent users playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Impressive figures indeed, however it seems that these claims were made in error.

The publishing giants have since moved to retract these figures and have revised that number down to a much smaller 1.4 million simultaneous users. Chopping nearly 2 million off the figure does take the gloss off, but that's still a massive amount of people.
