GTAV breaks several world records

Huge numbers revealed for Rockstar's game.

We all knew that Grand Theft Auto V was going to be a success, but the figures released today on GuinnessWorldRecords.com succinctly explain just how big a hit Rockstar has on its hands.

The game sold 11.21 million copies in the first 24 hours, creating revenue of $815.7 million (£511.8 million). Within three days that figure had reached $1 billion (£624.45 million). These figures smash the record, previously held by the Call of Duty franchise.
