Fresh God of War IV rumours

Store listing gives it away.

New Zealand's online shop Mighty Ape listed God of War IV for release in September 2012, before promptly taking it away. This gave fuel to new rumours about the game as reported by The Sixth Axis. Of course, it could only be a case of a retailer trying to get a few early pre-orders going without actually having heard anything from Sony.

However when we previously reported a rumour from the Official Playstation Magazine September was also the month mentioned. Coincidence? Well, if September is indeed the month Sony are targeting then the Spike TV Video Game Awards would serve as the perfect opportunity to unveil the game.
