DICE have released information on all the multiplayer modes (seven in all) that are playable in Battlefield 4. Classics like Conquest and Rush are joined by tweaked versions of old modes as well as brand new ones. Conquest and Domination will be playable in the upcoming beta. The exclusive beta kicks off October 1, with the open beta starting on October 4. The map playable in the beta is Siege of Shanghai.

Combat type: The definitive Battlefield mode - All-out vehicle warfare mixed with intense infantry action across land, air and sea

Obliteration
Combat type: Mad dash in vehicles and on foot to deliver explosives

Defuse
Combat type: Competitive close quarters combat

Team Deathmatch
Combat type: The classic shooter mode, Battlefield 4 style

Combat type: Fight deep into enemy territory by detonating their M-COM stations

Combat type: Four squads fight on the ground with limited vehicle support in a race to the top of the leaderboard
