Batman: Arkham City is a brilliant game, and it seems a lot of gamers out there couldn't wait to get their hands on Rocksteady Studios' title. Warner Bros have announced sales reaching a massive 4.6 million units in the first week on the market. With holiday sales, a PC version and an eventual Wii U port coming, Batman: Arkham City is well on the path of becoming one of this generation's best selling games.

Rocksteady's Sefton Hill had the following to say:

"The true test for any game is what the players think and we have been thrilled by their reaction to Batman: Arkham City... The team at Rocksteady put every ounce of effort into making the best Batman experience we possibly could, so we are overwhelmed by the incredible feedback from the community."

"Congratulations to Rocksteady: it's pulled off the same trick on us for a third time in a row - and it still feels fresh, haunting and funny all at the same time."
