Payday 2 sells 1.58 million copies

Payday 2 has sold an impressive 1.58 million copies since it was launched, it has been announced in an investor's note from Starbreeze. It's also noteworthy that from those sales, 80 per cent of them were digital.
Payday 2 debuted as the best selling game in the UK when it was launched last month, and the following week it plunged in the rankings because many retailers had sold out of the game and were unable to meet demand. You can read our review here.
