Finnish developers RedLynx keeps on expanding their popular Trials franchise and this time it's mobile and tablets getting a little love with Trials Frontier - a game that is being developed to work side-by-side with its big brother Trials Fusion (due out early next year). We've got a new trailer and some assets of it from Ubisoft's Digital Days event.

"A mobile version of Trials is something we have wanted to do for a long time, and it's something that Trials fans have wanted for a long time, but we felt we needed to wait until the time was right - not just in terms of the technology and the mobile gaming market - but in terms of our own growth and development. We wanted to make sure we were large enough and experienced enough to give our first mobile Trials game our complete attention and all the resources it needed. Now that we are part of the Ubisoft family, we have the resources we need to do Trials on mobile right," said Tero Virtala, Managing Director and
Antti Ilvessuo, Creative Director, via a Q&A document.

REVIEW. Written by Lee West

"So, the question: can you live with involuntary breaks? It's a normal obstacle with the freemium model, but other elements that come with free-to-play also invade Trials' usually slick arcade facade."
