Warner Bros has announced a Nightwing DLC pack for Batman: Arkham City, available November 1st for 560 Microsoft Points or £5.49 on PSN.

Nightwing - once the original Robin now fighting crime under his own mantle - will have his own unique gadgets and special moves, and is playable in all challenge maps in the game, as well as two additional challenge maps that are included with the pack: Wayne Manor and Main Hall. The pack also contains a bonus Animated Series Nightwing character skin.

Dick Grayson was the original Robin in the comics, before deciding to step out of the shadow of Batman and pursue his own career in crime-fighting. Like Catwoman, Rocksteady hasn't altered the classic comic threads too much - the blue cut is a nod to Nightwing's second, and most-recognised, version of his costume.

Warner also note that The Robin Bundle Pack is scheduled for availability on November 22nd for the same price.

"Congratulations to Rocksteady: it's pulled off the same trick on us for a third time in a row - and it still feels fresh, haunting and funny all at the same time."

"Consider this the second act, the better half, the conclusion after the cliffhanger - Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi (without the weak bits) rolled into one."
