Diabolical Pitch heats up with video

A Kinect title in which you use your pitching arm to destroy monsters decked out in circus gear is a little bit, well, out there. But no less than what we expect from Grasshopper Manufacture.

Diabolical Pitch is the studio's first title for the Kinect system, and seems to leave you a sitting duck to charging demons, with your only defence to aim straight and true with flaming baseballs or knock out home runs (that clobber advancing enemies) with your baseball bat. The game's also got a two-player option as well, and rather nicely, is coming to XBLA rather than a full retail release.

Looks as bizarre as we've come to expect from the studio, but how will it combat against the repetitiveness that some of the arcade-style games on the system have fallen prey to?
