Kingdom Hearts gets familiar face

The TGS trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance has just appeared, and with it the reveal of a new face to the franchise.

Neku Sakuraba, the lead character from DS cult hit The World Ends With You is making an appearance in the game, though how large that role is is still to be determined - the video shows him talking with Sora in a cutscene.

It's not the first time characters from Square's other titles have found their way into the series; the franchise has seen prominent appearances from various Final Fantasy cast members, the game uniting the best of the Japanese publisher's roster with big-name Disney icons.
