Remaking a long-running series into one of the more exciting releases in an autumn already chock full of them is non mean feat.

Yet that's exactly what's happened with Assault Horizon, the impressive new game in the Ace Combat franchise that's dazzling with each new trailer we're seeing ahead of launch next month.

GRTV caught up with director Kazutoki Kono at Namco Bandai's TGS event, as the creator explained how the studio has trotted around the globe for feedback, how the real world settings improve the suspense, and the social integration that'll weed out the Geese from the Mavericks.
