Dead Island chomps chart top spot
Deus Ex tumbles to fifth.
Last week's bumper release schedule took its toll on the UK charts, hammering apart the usual suspects in the top ten.
Dead Island landed the top spot of the week, with Techland's zombie adventure going straight to number one. Surprisingly, THQ's decent Warhammer 40k tie-in performed strongly in taking second place, and outperforming Sony's Resistance 3, which was also relegated to fourth as Driver held on to its top three placing at number three.
Last week's number one Deus Ex stumbled to fifth, while Star Fox 64 3D managed ninth, and NHL 12 came in at, well, 12.
The full UKIE multiformat Top 10 was as follows:
1 DEAD ISLAND
2 WARHAMMER 40,000: SPACE MARINE
3 DRIVER: SAN FRANCISCO
4 RESISTANCE 3
5 DEUS EX: HUMAN REVOLUTION
6 ZUMBA FITNESS
7 RUGBY WORLD CUP 2011
8 LEGO PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN
9 STAR FOX 64 3D
