CD Projekt have announced that The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings has reached 940,000 sold copies to date, out of which 200,000 are digital downloads. This means that the game has sold almost as much as the original did in a year in just a few months.
CD Projekt are working on an updated version of the game and an expansion as well as the Xbox 360 version of the game, which is due out next year. But there is every reason to believe there may be a Witcher 3 down the line.
