Naughty Dog hint at The Last of Us sequel

"We're playing with some ideas, but no direction has been set yet for the next game"

Given the success of The Last of Us it is perhaps not surprising that Naughty Dog are kicking around some ideas for a potential sequel internally. Yesterday on an AMA on Reddit, creative director Neil Druckmann said as much:

Q: Will there ever be more story content from the universe that Ellie and Joel live in centering around the two characters?

A: It's possible. We're playing with some ideas, but no direction has been set yet for the next game.
