Team Bondi, the developers of the hugely successful L.A. Noire are rumoured to be in severe financial difficulties. Develop cites anonymous sources at Neogaf.

The development of L.A. Noire was troubled to say the least, and it soon became public knowledge that Rockstar had no intention of extending their relationship with Team Bondi beyond the development of the game. It is also rumoured that Rockstar owns the L.A. Noire license. According to these sources part of the staff, including creative director and founder Brendan McNamara, are set to join Kennedy Miller Mitchell, a production studio that works on games and other media.

Remains to be seen what happens with Team Bondi, but if L.A. Noire is to be their only game released, it was a fine way to go out.
