On of the goals for 343 Industries when working on Halo 4 is to bring back the magic of old, the feeling that a lot of people got from playing Halo: Combat Evolved back in the day. MCV talked to Microsoft UK's Stephen McGill, who said that "one of the key things with Halo 4 is going back to what made it amazing for people playing the first Halo." After all, the cursing kid who killed you and then teabagged you in Halo 3 multiplayer this weekend was probably quite young when Combat Evolved was released 10 years ago. "They probably didn't play it. That's the opportunity the Anniversary pack and then Halo 4 have."

"The tenth anniversary is huge and is a product of great passion. It's important we celebrate this - the game itself was a huge milestone for us and kickstarted the platform in a lot of ways," McGill said about the Anniversary Edition of Halo: Combat Evolved which is due later this year.
