As revealed at E3, the Penguin is the newest member of Batman's rogues gallery to join Rocksteady's take on the Dark Knight's world.

Speaking to GRTV, the studio's Dax Ginn explains how players should expect the criminal and his gang to bring something new to Arkham City.

"He's a real nasty piece of work," says Ginn. "He and his gang are bringing firepower, organisation and tactics that Joker and Two-Face's [outfits] don't have."

Dax also fields questions about Catwoman's appearance as a playable character in the game, saying he's "never going to understand" why people wouldn't want to play as the jewel thief, and that the character provides "a lovely change of pace" and players will take to testing her out in the Challenge Maps.

"Congratulations to Rocksteady: it's pulled off the same trick on us for a third time in a row - and it still feels fresh, haunting and funny all at the same time."

"Consider this the second act, the better half, the conclusion after the cliffhanger - Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi (without the weak bits) rolled into one."
