343 Industries has been talking the potential of tinkering with Halo: Combat Evolved for its Anniversary edition.
When questioned about the possibility of a Director's cut-style take on the ten year old classic, Dan Ayoub from 343 Industries laughingly replied that the studio had "shouting matches" over the matter.
"We had huge arguments," he explained to GRTV at E3. "Shouting matches, all those things. Because there's an opportunity to maybe correct some things, and change some things."
But fans shouldn't be worried of any drastic changes, as Dan assures the gameplay experience as it was intended (but with the option of improved visuals).
"But at its core we wanted to make sure you had the opportunity to play this game identical to how it was ten years ago." Although he continued with the tease of a reveal come Halo Fest, mentioning "tools we're giving the player to maybe change that gameplay, if they want to."
