McLaren and Forza Motorsport 5 were the focus of a chunk of tonight's E3 conference from Microsoft. We already had a glimpse of Forza 5 at the console's unveiling last month. Turn 10's Dan Greenawalt took to the stage to discuss working with McLaren, describing how they're both "pushing boundaries".

The next-gen is to be about "more than poly count and texture resolution", with the developer promising "true innovation". He also made mention of the end of AI, with more human, more intelligent AI controlled opponents thanks to learning tech in the cloud. "Now you never race alone", playing against "well matched opponents... every time you race".

The presentation was followed by a trailer featuring all in-game footage (which we'll have soon). We're promised hundreds of cars, cloud-powered opponents, fast and fair multiplayer. Sounds good.
