Wargaming.net announced today that Update 6.5 will be hitting the World of Tanks-servers on June 30. The update includes two new maps, the winter landscape of the Arctic Region and the small British settlement of Redshire, and will also feature the "highly-anticipated American tank destroyers line, including the T95 superheavy monster." Yes, I quoted the press release there since I have no idea what that actually means.

But for tank-fans it might also be worth noting that on "of the most significant changes" coming in the patch is the replacement of "the M26 Pershing with the M46 Patton, which will become the first step towards global tech trees revision." Again, no clue what that means, but I'm guessing it will make people happy...?

We got some screenshots from the update, showcasing the Arctic Region and Redshire, right here.

REVIEW. Written by Mike Holmes

"On the outside it might just look like big, metallic monsters brutishly blasting away at each other, but there's actually a refreshing amount of tactical depth here."
